Electric water heater fun!

We went to Garden city a few days ago and ran into a great time fixing a A.O smith water heater that had a complete melt down. I don’t think i have ever seen what happened to this one happen before. All the wires were burnt out from the top all the way to the bottom of the heater. That was just the start. The Elements were fried and both the top and bottom thermostats. So we had to do a complete rebuild on the tank. I was very surprised that A.O smith didn’t just warranty the tank and install a new tank for the guy. They did pay for the parts though so that was nice of them.
