Noritz 751 DVC (R98 DVC) and Aqua Pure CWS 200

We had a fun time today getting a fun customer put together with a system that is going to be great for him. We had quite the adventure under the crawl space trying to figure out where stuff went so we could put this softener together to take care of his crazy system. He didn’t have a shut off valve for his house water or a pressure reducing valve. So we had fun moving things around to get something to work for him and still have it work properly. We ended up spending a lot more time there then i was expecting partially because of that and partially because we were waiting for an inspection on the gas line. Our scheduled time was 10 am and i think our inspector was running on inspector standard time which in our case today was about 4 hours behind schedule. I was starting to wonder if i was going to be over at this customers house heating pans full of water for him and his family to take a shower tonight, But he finally decided to show  up and give his stamp of approval so questar would give us their blessing. Other then that the installation went pretty smooth. We took out 2 older water heaters both of which were probably 1/3 to 1/2 full of all kinds of goodies. We also took care of some corroded water lines that had leaked at some time but because of the hard water had sealed them off. We opted to remove them and save some one a flood later on. We chose the DVC unit because we wouldn’t have to worry about combustion air and the flow rates fit their home quite well. We also set up the Aqua Pure CWS 200 series softener. This took care of him because he has quite the houseful of family and friends. This unit will soften quite a bit more water then the CWS150 model because it has about another .5 cubic feet of resin in it allowing it to soften more water between cycles. We also installed an 3M AP903 whole house filter to filter the water even better then what we were getting with the softener. The 903 filters sediment down to 5 microns, Chlorine , taste and odor. It is good up to 100,000 gallons of water. We are going to throw some pictures of before and after on here for you guys to see what we can do with a crowded mechanical room. If your interested in these products we can work you up a package deal with some discounts for installing these great systems. Contact us on www.bridgeplumbing.net or call us at (435)750-0880
