Noritz R98 DVC and Aqua pure CWS 150

This was a fun one! We probably had one of the more technical/ tricky installs to date. We had to run a new gas line from the meter in through a finished basement into a mechanical room. We had to move drains and water lines to get the venting out but the final product was great! We did some quick math to figure out what consumption the customer needed and decided that the Noritz R98 DVC would be a perfect match for their needs. Then we check the hard water and sized the softener and the Aqua Pure CWS 150 was a great match for their needs as well. The mechanical room was fun. We moved the water softener so that the main water shut off valves would be out of the way and then we installed the tankless on a wall out of the way of the rest of the mechanical room giving it more room and hopefully giving the customer more space for storage. After we thought we were done we ended up finding a few problems with the cold water back flowing into the hot lines. We would turn on a a few fixtures and depending on what one we turned on it effected other faucets in the house by turning the hot water cold and as soon as we turned that faucet off then the water would get hot again. After some diagnostics and a trip to the supply house we found a quick fix and they can enjoy endless hot water and a smaller gas bill.

The finished product
